Israel is God's Inheritance
Ex 34:9
He said, “If now I have found favor in your sight, Lord, please let the Lord
go in the midst of us; although this is a stiff-necked people; pardon our
iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance.”
Dt 4:20
But Yahweh has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, out of
Egypt, to be to him a people of inheritance, as at this day.
Dt 9:26,29
26 I prayed to Yahweh, and said, Lord Yahweh, don’t destroy your people and
your inheritance, that you have redeemed through your greatness, that you have
brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.
29 Yet they are your people and your inheritance, which you brought out by your
great power and by your outstretched arm.
1Sm 10:1

said, Isn’t it that Yahweh has anointed you to be prince over his inheritance?

Is 47:6
I was angry with my people, I profaned my inheritance, and gave them into your

I brought you into a plentiful land, to eat its fruit and its goodness; but when

heritage?
