The Jews are God's People

Ex 3:7,10
7 Yahweh said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows.
10 Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring forth my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”

Ex 5:1
Afterward Moses and Aaron came, and said to Pharaoh, “This is what Yahweh, the God of Israel, says, ‘Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.’”

Ex 6:7
and I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God; and you shall know that I am Yahweh your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

Ex 7:4,16
4 But Pharaoh will not listen to you, and I will lay my hand on Egypt, and bring forth my armies, my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.
16 You shall tell him, ‘Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to you, saying, “Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness:” and behold, until now you haven’t listened.

Ex 8:1,20,21,23
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, and tell him, “This is what Yahweh says, ‘Let my people go, that they may serve me.
20 Yahweh said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; behold, he comes forth to the water; and tell him, ‘This is what Yahweh says, “Let my people go, that they may serve me.
21 Else, if you will not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you, and on your servants, and on your people, and into your houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.
23 I will put a division between my people and your people: by tomorrow shall this sign be.”’”

Ex 9:1,13,17

17 as you still exalt yourself against my people, that you won’t let them go.

Ex 10:3,4
3 Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and said to him, “This is what Yahweh, the God of the Hebrews, says: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.
4 Or else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your country,

Ex 32:11,12,14
11 Moses begged Yahweh his God, and said, “Yahweh, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, that you have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?
12 Why should the Egyptians speak, saying, ‘He brought them forth for evil, to kill them in the mountains, and to consume them from the surface of the earth?’ Turn from your fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against your people.
14 Yahweh repented of the evil which he said he would do to his people.

Ex 33:13,16
13 Now therefore, if I have found favor in your sight, please show me now your ways, that I may know you, so that I may find favor in your sight: and consider that this nation is your people.”
16 For how would people know that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Isn’t it in that you go with us, so that we are separated, I and your people, from all the people who are on the surface of the earth?”

Lv 26:12
I will walk among you, and will be your God, and you will be my people.

Dt 4:20
But Yahweh has taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be to him a people of inheritance, as at this day.

Yet they are your people and your inheritance, which you brought out by your great power and by your outstretched arm.

Dt 26:15,18,19
15 Look down from your holy habitation, from heaven, and bless your people Israel, and the ground which you have given us, as you swore to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.
18 and Yahweh has declared you this day to be a people for his own possession, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments;
19 and to make you high above all nations that he has made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that you may be a holy people to Yahweh your God, as he has spoken.

Dt 28:9
Yahweh will establish you for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you; if you shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and walk in his ways.

For Yahweh’s portion is his people.
    Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

1Sm 9:16,17
16 Tomorrow about this time I will send you a man out of the land of Benjamin, and you shall anoint him to be prince over my people Israel; and he shall save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked on my people, because their cry is come to me.
17 When Samuel saw Saul, Yahweh said to him, Behold, the man of whom I spoke to you! this same shall have authority over my people.

1Sm 12:22
For Yahweh will not forsake his people for his great name’s sake, because it has pleased Yahweh to make you a people to himself.

But now your kingdom shall not continue: Yahweh has sought him a man after his own heart, and Yahweh has appointed him to be prince over his people, because you have not kept that which Yahweh commanded you.

2Sm 3:18
now then do it; for Yahweh has spoken of David, saying, By the hand of my servant David I will save my people Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of the hand of all their enemies.

2Sm 5:2,12
2 In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was you who led out and brought in Israel: and Yahweh said to you, You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince over Israel.
12 perceived that Yahweh had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom for his people Israel’s sake.

2Sm 6:21
David said to Michal, It was before Yahweh, who chose me above your father, and above all his house, to appoint me prince over the people of Yahweh, over Israel: therefore will I play before Yahweh.

2Sm 7:8,10,11,23,24
8  Now therefore thus you shall tell my servant David, Thus says Yahweh of Armies, I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people, over Israel;
10  I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as at the first,
11 and as from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel; and I will cause you to rest from all your enemies. Moreover Yahweh tells you that Yahweh will make you a house.
23 What one nation in the earth is like your people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people, and to make him a name, and to do great things for you, and awesome things for your land, before your people, whom you redeem to you out of Egypt, from the nations and their gods?
24 You did establish to yourself your people Israel to be a people to you forever; and you, Yahweh, became their God.

1Kg 3:8,9
8 Your servant is in the midst of your people which you have chosen, a great people, that can’t be numbered nor counted for multitude.
9 Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this your great people?

1Kg 6:13
I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.

1Kg 8:16,30,33,34,36,38,41,43,50-52,56,59
16 Since the day that I brought forth my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house, that my name might be there; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.
30 Listen you to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.
33 When your people Israel are struck down before the enemy, because they have sinned against you; if they turn again to you, and confess your name, and pray and make supplication to you in this house:
34 then hear you in heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to their fathers.
36 then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.
38 whatever prayer and supplication be made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
41 Moreover concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he shall come out of a far country for your name’s sake
43 hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and do according to all that the foreigner calls to you for; that all the peoples of the earth may know your name, to fear you, as does your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by my name.
50 and forgive your people who have sinned against you, and all their transgressions in which they have transgressed against you; and give them compassion before those who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them
51 (for they are your people, and your inheritance, which you brought forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron);
52 that your eyes may be open to the supplication of your servant, and to the supplication of your people Israel, to listen to them whenever they cry to you.
56 Blessed be Yahweh, who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised: there has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by Moses his servant.
59 Let these my words, with which I have made supplication before Yahweh, be near to Yahweh our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel, as every day shall require;

1Kg 14:7
Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel: Because I exalted you from among the people, and made you prince over my people Israel,

1Kg 16:2
Because I exalted you out of the dust, and made you prince over my people Israel, and you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and have made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

2Kg 9:6
He arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said to him, Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, I have anointed you king over the people of Yahweh, even over Israel.

6 In all places in which I have walked with all Israel, spoke I a word with any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to be shepherd of my people, saying, Why have you not built me a house of cedar?
7 Now therefore thus you shall tell my servant David, Thus says Yahweh of Armies, I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, that you should be prince over my people Israel:
9 I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place, and be moved no more; neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the first,
10 and as from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel; and I will subdue all your enemies. Moreover I tell you that Yahweh will build you a house.
21 What one nation in the earth is like your people Israel, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people, to make you a name by great and awesome things, in driving out nations from before your people, whom you redeem out of Egypt?
22 For your people Israel did you make your own people forever; and you, Yahweh, became their God.

1Ch 21:3,17
3 Joab said, Yahweh make his people a hundred times as many as they are: but, my lord the king, aren’t they all my lord’s servants? Why does my lord require this thing? Why will he be a cause of guilt to Israel?
17 David said to God, Isn’t it I who commanded the people to be numbered? It is even I who have sinned and done very wickedly; but these sheep, what have they done? Please let your hand, O Yahweh my God, be against me, and against my father’s house; but not against your people, that they should be plagued.

1Ch 23:25
For David said, Yahweh, the God of Israel, has given rest to his people; and he dwells in Jerusalem forever:

1Ch 29:17,18
17 I know also, my God, that you try the heart, and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy your people, that are present here, offer willingly to you.
18 Yahweh, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of your people, and prepare their heart to you;

5 Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house in, that my name might be there; neither chose I any man to be prince over my people Israel:
6 but I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.
21 Listen to the petitions of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: yes, hear from your dwelling place, even from heaven; and when you hear, forgive.
24 If your people Israel be struck down before the enemy, because they have sinned against you, and shall turn again and confess your name, and pray and make supplication before you in this house;
25 then hear from heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to them and to their fathers.
27 then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.
29 whatever prayer and supplication be made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall know every man his own plague and his own sorrow, and shall spread forth his hands toward this house:
32 Moreover concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he shall come from a far country for your great name’s sake, and your mighty hand, and your outstretched arm; when they shall come and pray toward this house:
33 then hear from heaven, even from your dwelling place, and do according to all that the foreigner calls to you for; that all the peoples of the earth may know your name, and fear you, as does your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by your name.
34 If your people go out to battle against their enemies, by whatever way you shall send them, and they pray to you toward this city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built for your name;
39 then hear from heaven, even from your dwelling place, their prayer and their petitions, and maintain their cause, and forgive your people who have sinned against you.

2Ch 7:10,13,14

13 If I shut up the sky so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14 if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2Ch 36:15,16,23
15 Yahweh, the God of their fathers, sent to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending, because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
16 but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of Yahweh arose against his people, until there was no remedy.
23 Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth has Yahweh, the God of heaven, given me; and he has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all his people, Yahweh his God be with him, and let him go up.

    and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.
62 He also gave his people over to the sword,

    and their leaders:
“It is you who have eaten up the vineyard.

    and grind the face of the poor?” says the Lord, Yahweh of Armies.

Is 5:13,25
13 Therefore my people go into captivity for lack of knowledge.
    Their honorable men are famished,
and their multitudes are parched with thirst.
25 Therefore Yahweh’s anger burns against his people,
    and he has stretched out his hand against them, and has struck them.
The mountains tremble,
    and their dead bodies are as refuse in the midst of the streets.
For all this, his anger is not turned away,
    but his hand is still stretched out.

Is 10:2,24

    to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21 the people which I formed for myself,
    that they might set forth my praise.

16 I have put my words in your mouth, and have covered you in the shadow of my hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and tell Zion, You are my people.
22 Thus says your Lord Yahweh, and your God who pleads the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath; you shall no more drink it again:

Is 52:5,6,9
5 Now therefore, what do I here, says Yahweh, seeing that my people is taken away for nothing? those who rule over them do howl, says Yahweh, and my name continually all the day is blasphemed.
6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he who does speak; behold, it is I.
9 Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem; for Yahweh has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.

Is 53:8
He was taken away by oppression and judgment;
    and as for his generation,
who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living
    and stricken for the disobedience of my people?

Is 57:14
He will say, Cast up, cast up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.

Is 58:1
Cry aloud, don’t spare, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and declare to my people their disobedience, and to the house of Jacob their sins.

Is 63:8,14,18
8 For he said, Surely, they are my people, children who will not deal falsely: so he was their Savior.
14 As the livestock that go down into the valley, the Spirit of Yahweh caused them to rest; so did you lead your people, to make yourself a glorious name.
18 Your holy people possessed it but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.

Is 64:9
Don’t be furious, Yahweh, neither remember iniquity forever: see, look, we beg you, we are all your people.

Is 65:10,19,22
10 Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.
19 I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; and there shall be heard in her no more the voice of weeping and the voice of crying.
22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree shall be the days of my people, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

Jr 2:11,13,31,32
11 Has a nation changed its gods, which yet are no gods? but my people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.
13 For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the spring of living waters, and cut them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.
31 Generation, see the word of Yahweh. Have I been a wilderness to Israel? or a land of thick darkness? why say my people, We are broken loose; we will come no more to you?
32 Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days without number.

Jr 4:11,22
11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A hot wind from the bare heights in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to winnow, nor to cleanse;
22 For my people are foolish, they don’t know me; they are foolish children, and they have no understanding; they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

Jr 5:26,31
26 For among my people are found wicked men: they watch, as fowlers lie in wait; they set a trap, they catch men.
31 the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will you do in the end of it?

Jr 6:14,27
14 They have healed also the hurt of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
27 I have made you a tester of metals and a fortress among my people; that you may know and try their way.

Jr 7:12,23
12 But go you now to my place which was in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.
23 but this thing I commanded them, saying, Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people; and walk you in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.

Jr 8:7,11
7 Yes, the stork in the sky knows her appointed times; and the turtledove and the swallow and the crane observe the time of their coming; but my people don’t know Yahweh’s law.
11 They have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

Jr 9:7
Therefore thus says Yahweh of Armies, Behold, I will melt them, and try them; for how else should I do, because of the daughter of my people?

Jr 11:4
which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so you shall be my people, and I will be your God;

Jr 12:14,16
14 Thus says Yahweh against all my evil neighbors, who touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit: behold, I will pluck them up from off their land, and will pluck up the house of Judah from among them.
16 It shall happen, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, As Yahweh lives; even as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built up in the midst of my people.

Jr 13:11
For as the belt cleaves to the waist of a man, so have I caused to cleave to me the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah, says Yahweh; that they may be to me for a people, and for a name, and for a praise, and for a glory: but they would not hear.

Jr 15:7
I have winnowed them with a fan in the gates of the land; I have bereaved them of children, I have destroyed my people; they didn’t return from their ways.

Jr 18:15
For my people have forgotten me, they have burned incense to false gods; and they have been made to stumble in their ways, in the ancient paths, to walk in byways, in a way not built up;

Jr 23:2,13,22,27,32
2 Therefore thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, against the shepherds who feed my people: You have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them; behold, I will visit on you the evil of your doings, says Yahweh.
13 I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.
22 But if they had stood in my council, then had they caused my people to hear my words, and had turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
27 who think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers forgot my name for Baal.
32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says Yahweh, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting: yet I didn’t send them, nor commanded them; neither do they profit this people at all, says Yahweh.

Jr 24:7
I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Yahweh: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God; for they shall return to me with their whole heart.

Jr 29:32
therefore thus says Yahweh, Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed; he shall not have a man to dwell among this people, neither shall he see the good that I will do to my people, says Yahweh, because he has spoken rebellion against Yahweh.

Jr 30:3,22
3 For, behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will turn again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, says Yahweh; and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
22 You shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Jr 31:1,7,14,33
1 At that time, says Yahweh, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
7 For thus says Yahweh, Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout for the chief of the nations: publish you, praise you, and say, Yahweh, save your people, the remnant of Israel.
14 I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says Yahweh.
33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says Yahweh: I will put my law in their inward parts, and in their heart will I write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people:

Jr 32:21,38
21 and brought forth your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terror;
38 and they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

Jr 33:24
Don’t you consider what this people has spoken, saying, The two families which Yahweh did choose, he has cast them off? thus do they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.

Jr 50:6
My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray; they have turned them away on the mountains; they have gone from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting place.

Jr 51:45
My people, go you out of the midst of her, and save yourselves every man from the fierce anger of Yahweh.

Ezk 11:20
that they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

Ezk 13:9,10,18,19,21,23
9 My hand shall be against the prophets who see false visions, and who divine lies: they shall not be in the council of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and you shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.
10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there is no peace; and when one builds up a wall, behold, they daub it with whitewash:
18 and say, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Woe to the women who sew pillows on all elbows, and make kerchiefs for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people, and save souls alive for yourselves?
19 You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die, and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.
21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
23 Therefore you shall no more see false visions, nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

Ezk 14:8,9,11
8 and I will set my face against that man, and will make him an astonishment, for a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
9 If the prophet be deceived and speak a word, I, Yahweh, have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand on him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
11 that the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither defile themselves any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the Lord Yahweh.

Ezk 21:12
Cry and wail, son of man; for it is on my people, it is on all the princes of Israel: they are delivered over to the sword with my people; strike therefore on your thigh.

Ezk 25:14
I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord Yahweh.

Ezk 33:31
They come to you as the people comes, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but don’t do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their gain.

Ezk 34:10,11,12,15,17,19,22,30,31
10 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my sheep at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the sheep; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; and I will deliver my sheep from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.
11 For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I myself, even I, will search for my sheep, and will seek them out.
12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered abroad, so will I seek out my sheep; and I will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
15 I myself will be the shepherd of my sheep, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord Yahweh.
17 As for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I judge between sheep and sheep, the rams and the male goats.
19 As for my sheep, they eat that which you have trodden with your feet, and they drink that which you have fouled with your feet.
22 therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.
30 They shall know that I, Yahweh, their God am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord Yahweh.
31 You my sheep, the sheep of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord Yahweh.

Ezk 36:8,12,20,28
8 But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.
12 Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no more henceforth bereave them of children.
20 When they came to the nations, where they went, they profaned my holy name; in that men said of them, These are the people of Yahweh, and are gone forth out of his land.
28 You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God

Ezk 37:12,13,23,27
12 Therefore prophesy, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.
13 You shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have opened your graves, and caused you to come up out of your graves, my people.
23 neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
27 My tent also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Ezk 38:14,16
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and tell Gog, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: In that day when my people Israel dwells securely, shall you not know it?
16 and you shall come up against my people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land: it shall happen in the latter days, that I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in you, Gog, before their eyes.

Ezk 39:7
My holy name will I make known in the midst of my people Israel; neither will I allow my holy name to be profaned any more: and the nations shall know that I am Yahweh, the Holy One in Israel.

Ezk 44:23
They shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

Ezk 45:8,9
8 In the land it shall be to him for a possession in Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; but they shall give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.
9 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Let it suffice you, princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute justice and righteousness; dispossessing my people, says the Lord Yahweh.

Ezk 46:18
Moreover the prince shall not take of the people’s inheritance, to thrust them out of their possession; he shall give inheritance to his sons out of his own possession, that my people not be scattered every man from his possession.

Dn 9:15,16,19
15 Now, Lord our God, who has brought your people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have gotten you renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16 Lord, according to all your righteousness, let your anger and please let your wrath be turned away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people are become a reproach to all who are around us.
19 Lord, hear; Lord, forgive; Lord, listen and do; don’t defer, for your own sake, my God, because your city and your people are called by your name.

Hs 1:9,10
9 He said, “Call his name Lo-Ammi; for you are not my people, and I will not be yours.
10 Yet the number of the children of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which can’t be measured nor numbered; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’

Hs 2:23
I will sow her to me in the earth;
    and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy;
and I will tell those who were not my people, ‘You are my people;’
    and they will say, ‘My God!’”

Hs 4:6,8
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
    Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you,
that you may be no priest to me.
8 They feed on the sin of my people,
    and set their heart on their iniquity.

Hs 6:11
“Also, Judah, there is a harvest appointed for you,
    when I restore the fortunes of my people.

Hs 11:7
My people are determined to turn from me.
    Though they call to the Most High,
he certainly won’t exalt them.

Jl 2:17,18,19,26,27
17 Let the priests, the ministers of Yahweh, weep between the porch and the altar,
    and let them say, “Spare your people, Yahweh,
and don’t give your heritage to reproach,
    that the nations should rule over them.
Why should they say among the peoples,
    ‘Where is their God?’”
18 Then Yahweh was jealous for his land,
    And had pity on his people.
19 Yahweh answered his people,
    “Behold, I will send you grain, new wine, and oil,
and you will be satisfied with them;
    and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations.
26 You will have plenty to eat, and be satisfied,
    and will praise the name of Yahweh, your God,
who has dealt wondrously with you;
    and my people will never again be disappointed.
27 You will know that I am in the midst of Israel,
    and that I am Yahweh, your God, and there is no one else;
and my people will never again be disappointed.

Jl 3:2,3,16
2 I will gather all nations,
    and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat;
and I will execute judgment on them there for my people,
    and for my heritage, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations.
They have divided my land,
3 and have cast lots for my people,
and have given a boy for a prostitute,
    and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.
16 Yahweh will roar from Zion,
    and thunder from Jerusalem;
and the heavens and the earth will shake;
    but Yahweh will be a refuge to his people,
and a stronghold to the children of Israel.

Am 7:8,15
8 Yahweh said to me, “Amos, what do you see?”
I said, “A plumb line.”
Then the Lord said, “Behold, I will set a plumb line in the midst of my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.
15 and Yahweh took me from following the flock, and Yahweh said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’

Am 8:2
He said, “Amos, what do you see?”
I said, “A basket of summer fruit.”
Then Yahweh said to me,
“The end has come on my people Israel.
    I will not again pass by them any more.

Am 9:10,14
10 All the sinners of my people will die by the sword, who say, ‘Evil won’t overtake nor meet us.’
14 I will bring my people Israel back from captivity,
    and they will rebuild the ruined cities, and inhabit them;
and they will plant vineyards, and drink wine from them.

Ob 1:13
Don’t enter into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity. Don’t look down on their affliction in the day of their calamity, neither seize their wealth on the day of their calamity.

Mc 1:9
For her wounds are incurable;
    for it has come even to Judah.
It reaches to the gate of my people,
    even to Jerusalem.

Mc 2:8,9
8 But lately my people have risen up as an enemy.
    You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle.
9 You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses;
    from their young children you take away my blessing forever.

Mc 3:3,5
3 who also eat the flesh of my people,
    and flay their skin from off them,
and break their bones,
    and chop them in pieces, as for the pot,
and as flesh within the caldron.
5 Thus says Yahweh concerning the prophets who lead my people astray; for those who feed their teeth, they proclaim, “Peace!” and whoever doesn’t provide for their mouths, they prepare war against him:

Mc 6:2,3,5,16
2 Hear, you mountains, Yahweh’s controversy,
    and you enduring foundations of the earth;
for Yahweh has a controversy with his people,
    and he will contend with Israel.
3 My people, what have I done to you?
    How have I burdened you?
Answer me!
5 My people, remember now what Balak king of Moab devised,
    and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim to Gilgal,
that you may know the righteous acts of Yahweh.”
16 For the statutes of Omri are kept,
    and all the works of the house of Ahab.
You walk in their counsels,
    that I may make you a ruin,
and her inhabitants a hissing;
    And you will bear the reproach of my people.”

Mc 7:14
Shepherd your people with your staff,
    the flock of your heritage,
who dwell by themselves in a forest,
    in the midst of fertile pasture land, let them feed;
in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

Hbk 3:13
You went forth for the salvation of your people,
    for the salvation of your anointed.
You crushed the head of the land of wickedness.
    You stripped them head to foot.

Zp 2:8-10
8 I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the insults of the children of Ammon, with which they have reproached my people, and magnified themselves against their border.
9 Therefore as I live, says Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, surely Moab will be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, a possession of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation. The remnant of my people will plunder them, and the survivors of my nation will inherit them.
10 This they will have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of Yahweh of Armies.

Zc 8:7,8
7 Thus says Yahweh of Armies: “Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;
8 and I will bring them, and they will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they will be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.”

Zc 9:16
Yahweh their God will save them in that day as the flock of his people;
    for they are like the jewels of a crown,
lifted on high over his land.

Zc 10:3
My anger is kindled against the shepherds,
    and I will punish the male goats;
For Yahweh of Armies has visited his flock, the house of Judah,
    and will make them as his majestic horse in the battle.

Zc 13:9
I will bring the third part into the fire,
    and will refine them as silver is refined,
and will test them like gold is tested.
They will call on my name, and I will hear them.
    I will say, ‘It is my people;’
and they will say, ‘Yahweh is my God.’”

Mt 1:21
She shall bring forth a son. You shall call his name Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.”

‘You Bethlehem, land of Judah,
    are in no way least among the princes of Judah:
for out of you shall come forth a governor,
    who shall shepherd my people, Israel.’”

Lk 1:68,77
68 “Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel,
    for he has visited and worked redemption for his people;
77 to give knowledge of salvation to his people by the remission of their sins,

Lk 2:32
a light for revelation to the nations,
    and the glory of your people Israel.”

Lk 7:16
Fear took hold of all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and, “God has visited his people!

Ac 7:34
I have surely seen the affliction of my people that is in Egypt, and have heard their groaning. I have come down to deliver them. Now come, I will send you into Egypt.

Rm 11:1,2
1 I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God didn’t reject his people, which he foreknew. Or don’t you know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel:

Rm 15:10
Again he says, “Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”

Heb 8:10
“For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel.
    After those days,” says the Lord;
“I will put my laws into their mind,
    I will also write them on their heart.
I will be their God,
    and they will be my people.

Heb 11:25
(Moses) choosing rather to share ill treatment with God’s people, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time;
