Geographic Border Locations:
Ain
The name means "eye" or "spring" (of water). Ain is the name of more than one city in the Bible. The Ain connected with the borders of the Promised Land was just east of the southern end of the Sea of Galilee.

10 “‘You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham;
11 and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of
Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of
Chinnereth eastward;
12 and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be
at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around

30 Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah,
31 Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,
32 Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon. All the cities are twenty-nine,
with their villages.
Jsh 19:1-8
1 The second lot came out for Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of
Simeon according to their families. Their inheritance was in the midst of the
inheritance of the children of Judah.
2 They had for their inheritance Beersheba (or Sheba), Moladah,
3 Hazar Shual, Balah, Ezem,
4 Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 Ziklag, Beth Marcaboth, Hazar Susah,
6 Beth Lebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities with their villages;
7 Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan; four cities with their villages;
8 and all the villages that were around these cities to Baalath Beer, Ramah of
the South. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon
according to their families.

13 To the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its suburbs, the
city of refuge for the manslayer, Libnah with its suburbs,
14 Jattir with its suburbs, Eshtemoa with its suburbs,
15 Holon with its suburbs, Debir with its suburbs,
16 Ain with its suburbs, Juttah with its suburbs, and Beth Shemesh with
its suburbs; nine cities out of those two tribes.
1Ch 4:27-32
27 Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters; but his brothers didn’t have
many children, neither did all their family multiply like the children of Judah.
28 They lived at Beersheba, and Moladah, and Hazarshual,
29 and at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,
30 and at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
