Geographic Border Locations:
The Euphrates River
The name means "that makes fruitful". Also just called "The River", it is frequently specified in the Bible as being on the border of The Promised Land. In fact, the kingdoms of David and Solomon extended to the Euphrates River to the north/northeast of modern Israel, as seen in the scripture list below.

Gn 2:10-14
10 A river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from there it was parted,
and became four heads.
11 The name of the first is Pishon: this is the one which flows through the

stone.
13 The name of the second river is Gihon: the same river that flows through the
whole land of Cush.

Gn 15:18
