Kadesh Barnea
Also just called Kadesh/Qadesh, it was on the southern border of The Promised Land. Sometimes identified with the modern spring of 'Ain Qudeis - 80 km southwest of Beersheba, it is more often identified with the modern 'Ain Qudeirat - 8km northwest of 'Ain Qudeis.

They returned, and came to En Mishpat (the same is Kadesh), and struck
all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that lived in Hazazon
Tamar.
