Zin
The name means "a low palm tree". The wilderness of Zin is a desert on the southern border of The Promised Land, not to be confused with the Wilderness of Sin. It included Kadesh-Barnea and Meribah, both listed in this study of the Borders of Israel. Today the wilderness of Zin is generally in the area called the Negev.
Nm 13:21
So they went up, and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin to
Rehob, to the entrance of Hamath.
Nm 20:1
The children of Israel, even the whole congregation, came into the wilderness of
Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died
there, and was buried there.
Nm 27:14
because you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin, in the
strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the waters before their eyes.”
(These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)
Nm 33:36
They traveled from Ezion Geber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin
(the same is Kadesh).
Nm 34:3,4
3 then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by
the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea
eastward;
4 and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass
along to Zin; and the goings out of it shall be southward of Kadesh
Barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon;
Dt 32:51
because you trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel at the
waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you
didn’t sanctify me in the midst of the children of Israel.
Jsh 15:1,3
1 The lot for the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families was
to the border of Edom, even to the wilderness of Zin southward, at the
uttermost part of the south.

and went up by the south of Kadesh Barnea, and passed along by Hezron, went up
to Addar, and turned about to Karka;
